I work at a public library and one of my jobs is to make signage and advertising for the library. Librarians are big on sharing so I post some of the most useful things I make on my library design blog Designbrarian.
ummer is fast approaching which means preparing for the kids summer reading program. I illustrated a space themed reading tracker since our theme this year is Universe of Stories. Everyone is welcome to print out the tracker and use it for their own library or school program. I am so excited to turn our children's department into a cosmic wonderland. We are going to turn our exploratorium into a black light room with glowing activities and crafts. And we will transform our castle into a space station. I am most excited to create a giant table-sized sensory bag with glittery blue gel, that children can squish around to search and find planets and spaceships.

All the way back in 2011 I was working on a odd and slightly disturbing RPG about a rabbit who could transform into any creature he ate in battle. I am a huge fan of Pokemon and the idea was born from a combination of ditto and the idea in cannibalistic cultures that you retain the strength and virility of those you ate. Umm, college, what can I say. Anyway, so here is a smattering of artwork and webdesign I did to promote it. I feel like I should actually revisit this game and see if I can't finish a mini version of it. I can't believe that was only 5 years ago, it feels a lot longer.
I have so much stuff in my sketchbook that never gets to see the light of day because it is either part of a bigger project, or I just don't draw a digital version of it. So, I am gonna start posting some of my stuff to share with you.
Today, I will show you a sketch for a game I dream of designing. Caticorns are all marshmellowy goodness. I made this for a friend's birthday.
